The last building built was built in 1974 and located in the south east area of the property. It is 1 continuous building and has a different appearance from all the other Aix La Chapelle buildings. It contains 24 of the 256 units with all its unit numbers in the 400s. Because of this, it is often referred to as the 400 building. It has beige siding with a brown wood It is 4 levels with 3 levels of condo units. The top level contains the only 2 level individual condominiums at Aix La Chapelle.

Aix La Chapelle was built as a luxury, creme de la creme, apartment complex. They were converted into condominiums in 1979. All of the condos here at Aix La Chapelle are very unique and individual. Of the 256 units, there are 73 different floor plans, and even units with the same floor plan differ greatly. Some units have been completely remolded with granite counter tops, new appliances, light fixtures, cabinets, bathrooms, tile and hardwoods floors. Others have kept the original counter tops, Caloric Ultramtic appliances, brass fixtures, terrazzo flooring, beautiful crown molding, intrinsic fireplace mantles and cast iron bathtubs.

Contractors and remodelers often comment on the quality of the buildings and original materials. It makes remodeling the units a dream because it does not compromise the units' integrity like it would if they were of poor quality construction.
